NEW FOR 2010:
TEAM COMPETITION
at the 2010 All Star Agility Championships!!!

All three members of the winning team in each sport will receive a blue
Picnic Time folding chair embroidered with their win!
While competing individually at All Star, you can also join a team. All Star
will award prizes to the top four teams in each sport--agility, obedience and
rally. There will be no additional entry fee to compete in team. Each team will
consist of three participants in the same sport. If you don't have a team--we'll
help you find one.
Overall Rules:
- Each team will consist of three different handlers with three different
dogs.
- Awards will be based on combining each member's individual scores. There
will be no additional competitions for team.
- Awards will be given for the top four teams in each sport.
- Each team will provide a team name.
- One team entry form should be submitted for each team. Team entries can be
mailed, emailed or completed on the web site.
- Team affiliations may be added or changed after individual entries are
submitted; however, all changes must be made by the final closing date of
entries.
- The trial secretary will attempt to assist handlers wishing to find a
team.
- There will be no additional entry fee for team competition.
- Team members may wear team shirts or other items which include their team
name but not individual person or dog names.
Agility:
- At least one dog on the team must be in either the 8", 12" or
16" division.
- At least one dog on the team must be from the 16", 20" or
24" division.
- Awards will be based on highest combined score for all three dogs for all
four rounds. Ties will be broken by lowest combined time for all dogs for
all rounds.
***PLEASE NOTE: Change in team requirements for
Agility--16" dogs can now serve as the small dog or large dog on a team.
Obedience:
- At least one dog on the team must be in either the Novice or Open
division.
- At least one dog on the team must be in either the Utility or Super Star
division.
- Scores for dogs in the Super Star division will be multiplied by a factor
of 3/5 to adjust for the increased number of individual rounds in Super Star
(five) compared to Novice, Open and Utility (three).
- Awards will be based on the lowest combined total points lost for all
three dogs for the competition. Ties will be broken by a runoff.
Rally:
- At least one dog on the team must be in either the Novice or Advanced
division.
- At least one dog on the team must be in either the Excellent or Super
Rally division.
- Scores for dogs in the Super Rally division will be multiplied by a factor
of one half to adjust for the increased number of individual rounds in Super
Rally (six) compared to Novice, Advanced and Excellent (three).
